Sleepover at Larissa's house with softballers last night damn fun.. watched 1/4 of How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days (gave up halfway cos we couldn't exactly hear the lines x)) and played Truth or Dare. I went there late at around midnight because I had to attend a wedding dinner at Mandarin, but I'm glad I didn't miss out on the main bits. :) I think all of us learnt alot about each other during Truth or Dare; it was really just a heart-to-heart batchtalk of sorts.
But what we did isn't the main point.
GERMANY VS. PORTUGAL(I realised I can't colour the words in flag colours because black can't stand out on black.)
I took a neutral stand for this game.It wasn't exactly a good game because Portugal was horrible.. (sorry Lari but they were ><) but Germany's defence was EXCELLENT. Comparable to France in Bra/Fra, or perhaps even better... It was the perfect formation against Portugal. Haha you really have to give Klinnsman credit for that (speaking of whom, I absolutely adore). This formation was similar to France's in Fra/Bra. I won't comment much on Petite's OG cos there's well.. nothing to comment on. Poor guy. He was unlucky, but I thought the deflection was unnecessary in the first place. Goalkeepers on both sides did great jobs, even though Kahn must be bored out of his mind for most of the game.. Germany's defending was too good and Portugal didn't have the chance to make many shots. But during the time he played he was superb. Speaking of Kahn, I'm really happy for him too. His last WC ended with a fantastic bang. (Don't get me wrong, I love Lehmann too :) He really has my commendation for giving up his position to Kahn.) Rivals who gave each other support!
Awww. Germany V Argentina. (Don't get the wrong idea, idiot.)Right you must be thinking I'm siding Germany even though I said I was neutral. But face it Germany deserved the win!! It was just bad luck on Ricardo's side. He tried for every single shot, and missed twice by inches aaaaargh. But Ricardo is still one fantastic goalkeeper. :)
I HATE HIROSHIMA. The shitty referee who GAVE GERMANY 4 FREE KICKS IN A ROW. Not that he was wrong for that, but I think Portugal weren't the only ones who fouled inside the PB. And what what some of the Portugese did didn't warrant
yellow cards. The referee was incredibly biased.

I found myself screaming and cheering when Portugal managed a goal after letting in 2 from Germany (1 from Portugal #_#) whenI was only
stumped when Germany scored their two goals. Those goals were unbelieveable. They were super nice, too. After nearly missing the first from Germany (I woke up two seconds before they scored) I swore to keep my eyes open throughout the rest of the game. Moments after Luis Figo was subbed in he made a perfect pass which was the base for Nuno Gomes' perfect header shot. KYAAAAH I was SO happy for Portugal.
To end this incessant crapping (oh the irony!), I give you EXCELLENT SPORTSMANSHIP:
<3Now for the final match of the Fifa World Cup 2006.GO
FRANCE!!!!! FRANCE!!!!! FRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!omg I am DAMN FREAKING SCARED for France. I haven't seen Italy's Buffon in action but apparently he's world's best. It's all on Zidane and Barthez. I hope they play their
best ever tonight. They need all the luck they can have.
